ni‑law is an independent litigation practice in Hamburg run by Joachim Lehnhardt, formerly a partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP.
The firm acts in high‑value commercial, capital markets and regulatory matters before German courts, European courts and public authorities.
Commercial Litigation
Representation in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, corporate governance matters and post‑transaction conflicts before German courts.
Capital Markets
Acting for investors and financial market participants in capital markets litigation, model case proceedings and disputes arising from disclosure, reporting and governance issues.
Complex Damages Claims
Representation in high‑value damages actions, including insolvency‑related claims, cartel damages litigation and disputes involving financial institutions.
Regulatory
Representation before regulatory authorities and administrative courts in matters involving financial markets, data protection and other business‑critical regulatory issues.
Direct Responsibility
Every matter is led personally by the lawyer instructed. Clients engage ni‑law for senior judgment, strategic focus and direct involvement throughout the life of a dispute.
Selective Mandates
ni‑law accepts a limited number of matters. This allows concentrated attention where the stakes justify it and ensures that strategic decisions remain close to the client.
Independent Structure
Without the layers and institutional constraints of a large organisation, the practice is able to focus exclusively on the client’s interests and the demands of the dispute.
